Today I’m bringing together two of my favorite things – whiskey and cupcakes! During these winter months, nothing warms me up better than a hot toddy. It’s a warm cocktail of whiskey, honey, and lemon juice (sometimes made with tea.) It’s delicious and warms the soul. I presonally also think it’s a great home remedy for sore throats and colds. 😉
These Hot Toddy Cupcakes may not have the exact same effect but they’ll definitely satisfy a sweet tooth!
Last month, I was invited to an Oktoberfest-themed potluck. When you think of Oktoberfest, you think of beer, lederhosen, and pretzels! You probably don’t think of gluten free pretzels though 😅 Well, for those of you who can’t have gluten or if like me, sometimes choose to go gluten-free, here is a Paleo Pretzels recipe for you to still join in on the fun!
Now, if you are looking for the exact same texture and taste from this recipe as you would from say, a Wetzel’s Pretzels, you might be disappointed. But these pretzels are actually really soft with just the right amount of chew and they pull apart like the real deal! They remind me of warm bagels, which are my faaav! Plus, these Paleo Pretzels have an extra garlic-y goodness. Check it out!
It is official – I have turned into a crazy dog mom. Apparently, the transformation happens pretty quickly especially when you are already a baker/crafter and then you add in a few months of umemployment. But, I suppose I haven’t started dressing up my dog on a daily basis so maybe there is still hope 😉 Crazy dog mom or not, I just had to do something to celebrate Riply’s 1st Birthday today! You are suppose to indulge a little on your birthday so I made Riply her very own Birthday Pupcake!
