Riply was a part of a Secret Santa this year. Yup, my dog has friends who exchange gifts. 😛As I was brainstorming gift ideas, I was needing a new craft project so thought it would be fun to make some dog bow ties! They are fairly simple to make, even without a sewing machine. While I hand sewed most of these bow ties, I’ll also share some real easy, no sew hacks along the way!

It is official – I have turned into a crazy dog mom. Apparently, the transformation happens pretty quickly especially when you are already a baker/crafter and then you add in a few months of umemployment. But, I suppose I haven’t started dressing up my dog on a daily basis so maybe there is still hope 😉 Crazy dog mom or not, I just had to do something to celebrate Riply’s 1st Birthday today! You are suppose to indulge a little on your birthday so I made Riply her very own Birthday Pupcake!

As a lover of all things baked goods, I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of making my own dog treats until now! It is Riply’s 1st birthday tomorrow and while I was researching dog friendly cakes, I realized how easy it is to make dog treats with everyday, simple ingredients. What’s even better is that because they are homemade, you know exactly what your dog is consuming. After finding many homemade dog treat recipes online, I decided to test out a few for myself. This particular recipe is for Homemade Peanut Butter Oat Doggie Treats made with just four ingredients!
